Orca was founded in 1991 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The boating capital of the U S and maybe the world. The company was relocated to Costa Rica in 2005 to a larger and more efficient manufacturing facility. This move has allowed us to lower our manufacturing costs and pass the savings on to our customers. We have been building very high performance semi-custom sportfishing boats a long time. If you are looking for a very good looking boat that is very fast, with great sea keeping and high quality construction you are at the right place. Our boats are built light and very strong with multi-directional Kevlar fiber and core cell. Our 42 express weight is approximately 13,000 lb.s and will cruise at approx. 40 knots depending on power.
